Hi tumblr buddies. I’m trying to start a new feature on the RC blog (yes that’s me in the video) and I need your help. Leave me some good questions about the show in the comments section of the video (or on our website) and I will do my best to answer them. Thanks!

Hey, I lit this! If you scroll back in my posts a bit, you can see a crazy wheelchair dolly that I rigged up too. This looks really great considering the bare-bones nature of the production. Just shows what a difference having a talented crew can make. :)

I have to give a shout out to this Kickstarter, co-started by my good friend and go-to music guy Zach Toporek. Zach has pretty much scored all my short films since high school, and was even the subject of a documentary I once made. His partner in crime, Nate Jasensky, is also a super-talented and cool dude. This is a really well thought out campaign with very generous backer gifts, so check it out!

The Internet is cool and all, but nothing beats a live audience.

This isn’t just any old screening, this is the 2012 Golden Gong Awards!!! It’s such a big deal, that I’m even flying out from LA to attend. Anyone in the Tucson area, especially those of you who have never been, should check it out. Click the title above for more details.

Oh and P.S. this might be the last time my cartoon ever plays in a theater. :(

Stop-motion is probably the worst, most painful way to make a film. It’s a completely awful process to engage in, an anachronism. But the stories have a warmth and a charm. You’re not looking at ones and zeros. You’re looking at the hands of the artists who made it.
